Ronnie's Strategy
Hello Sports fans Ronnie Locke here with some handicapping tips for the upcoming baseball season and some important factors to think about when handicapping and doing your homework... Last season in MLB we saw great value in wagering on the dogs. It only makes sense as you will see. If you play a heavy favorite of 200 or 300 dollars and you lose you have to win 2 or 3 games just to break even. If you play dogs you could concievably go 2-4 and still break even. With a losing day playing the dogs you could still break even! Now thats value sports fans and you have seen that all last year with our dog plays. I call them dog day afternoons. Last year we finished at +153.8 units in baseball.
Every week I will be providing tidbits of information that you sports fans can utilize in your wagering strategy that has taken me decades to gather. One of my goals on this website is to maximize your gains and minimize your losses...
A smart danger sign to look for in football especially college comes in the form of few returning offensive linemen, a new QB, or even an entirely new coaching staff and system.
Early season lines are determined by pre-season hype and rankings which are often wrong. It takes oddsmakers a few weeks to get a handle on particular teams and their strengths and weaknesses and make the adjustments in the lines they set. So its your job as a handicapper to search and destroy these early line mistakes. Doing your homework cannot be stressed enough.
Just researching trends,statistics and emotions and personality of a particular team is not enough. There are too many intangibles to stop there. One of the most important factors handicappers forget in looking at a game is the coaching factor. Know your coaches and their staff. A perfect example of this that comes to mind is Steve Spurrier and Florida. In his last season before he exited to the NFL his Gators averaged 44 pts a game went 10-2 straight up and 8-4 ATS. Along comes Ron Zook his replacement and with the same cast of players only averaged 26 pts 8-5 SU and 4-9 ATS.There are coaches like Dennis Francione who left the Crimson Tide to become a Texas A&M Aggie. His record is unbelievable as a dog or at home wherever he coaches. He takes losing programs and makes them winners. Teams that aren't supposed to win are his specialty.At New Mexico where he coached from 92-97 he went a titilating 20-12-1 as a dog ATS and 15-9 SU. His teams went 9-2 ATS at home his last 2 seasons at New Mexico. He then goes to TCU and only makes them go 14-4 SU and 14-3 ATS at home! He did the same at Alabama going 18-8 overall and 5-1 ATS as a dog. Don't forget when he went to Norman and as a 12 point dog almost upset the Sooners. Next week I will give you coaching examples that are exactly the opposite of these coaches. Ronnie's Strategy: Open Teasing
Players keep in mind that what I am introducing to you is a wagering system of using two team open teasers that can be used at anytime during that particular sports season.
How to play open teasers:
They can be connected from a football wager to a basketball wager or vice versa.
Ex: A 4 pt or 5 pt college basketball teaser can be closed or connected to an NFL Football wager.
A 4 pt teaser in basketball becomes a 6 pt teaser in football.
A 4.5 point teaser becomes a 6.5 point teaser.
A 5-point teaser becomes a 7-point teaser.
Ex: You play a 2-team open teaser on The Pittsburgh Steelers 6 points. That teaser can now be closed to UCLA in college basketball as a 4-point teaser.
Ex: A 5 pt teaser on Stanford in college basketball can be closed to the St. Louis Rams as a 7-point play. I recommend playing 5Point teasers in basketball. Those put the odds in your favor and only play books that let you play 5-point open teasers. Here are the ratios from basketball to football:
Basketball------------------- Football
4 Point Teaser------------ 6 Point Teaser
4.5 Point Teaser--------- 6.5 Point Teaser
5 Point Teaser------------ 7 Point Teaser
Again, keep in mind that once you win the first half of the open teaser you can bank that teaser and play it anytime during that sporting season. Ex: You open a 2-team 6pt teaser in college football. You can now bank that wager and play it in Feb on The Superbowl.
Banking Teasers:
Part of the concept to this unique wagering system is to bank as many open teasers as you can so that you have a constant reserve of them each week. This is key. It might take you a couple of weeks to obtain them but remember patience is also a key element. All the information you need for the system as well as the entire key elements to successful sports wagering on a consistent basis will be reviewed and discussed throughout the year of each particular sports wagering season. Patience: Remember it's not imperative that you see a profit during the first week. Again, this is a disciplined system of patience where we will show you how to significantly increase the wagering odds into your favor and not the bookie or Vegas's favor. How do you think they built those billion dollar hotels in Vegas?? WITH YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!! They have the odds heavily swung in their favor. With our strategy, we will show you how to swing that back to your side. 99% of all handicappers and services that charge large sums of money to give you so called insider information on games that they say no one else can get you can get that same information + more that they claim they get from players, coaches and spies or scouts as they call them. They lead you to believe that they have this inside information that no one else can get. If that were true why would they give it out to the public when they could use it themselves and become millionaires??? These so called inside information services do what is known as splitting the action. Just like what a bookie does to insure a profit. They give half their clients Oregon State and the other half UCLA (If these teams were opposing each other). They can't lose. Half of their clients will win and the other half will lose. This guarantees them of a 50% repeat customer return business with another new batch of clients for the next game. And the cycle continues. Our information comes from the only place that assures you of being on the right side of a wager: Statistics, injuries, emotions etc. Its called doing your homework. This is similar to what bookies do to get an even amount of action on each side of the wager to insure them a profit from the "vigorish" or "juice" as they call it. This is only a sample of information on our system that will be used throughout the sports wagering season. If you win at a 60% rate you are doing extremely well in sports wagering. Our system can show a consistent 70 to 75% rate of consistent profit if done properly. We think that a $10 charge is a minimal amount for the information system that you will use for wagering.
